On September 15th, 2022, Smile Farms' Cornell Day Habilitation was given a plaque in dedication for their newest flowerbed. The beautiful flowerbed was created from donated funds, that were raised from the Long Island Cranx Foundation (LICF).

Previously known as the Wharton Memorial Institute, Maryhaven recently celebrated the 93-Year Anniversary. On September 12, 1929, the Daughters of Wisdom began their efforts to provide and support mentally and emotionally disabled children, which has expanded into a large network of facilities across Long Island, today.

$5 Million State Grant Helps Maryhaven fund repairs for group homes across Long Island  

 

 

 

Construction began in September 2022 to 26 houses & skill-trained programs, to fix and replace roofs, windows, kitchens, and more. This construction is set to finish in about three years. NYS gave Maryhaven a $5 Million State Grant to refurbish and replenish these homes and programs, and will continue to allow the people we support to live their best lives, for life.
